B&D Boston Helps Organize BBA Forum on Decarbonizing the Non-Energy Economy
Beveridge & Diamond (B&D) lawyer Brook Detterman is moderating the Boston Bar Association (BBA) forum, “Decarbonizing the Non-Energy Economy: Program and Regulation Design” to be held January 11, 2017 in Boston.
The forum will feature law and policy experts discussing the opportunities for and challenges of designing programs, policies, and regulations to achieve long-term, cross-sector/economy-wide reductions in carbon emissions including cap-and-trade, carbon pricing, and credit/offset trading.
Mr. Detterman, an Associate in B&D’s Boston office, serves as the co-chair of the Air Quality & Climate Change Committee of the BBA Environmental Law Section and focuses his practice on energy and climate change matters. He is an author of the U.S. Climate Change chapter in Getting the Deal Through – Climate Regulation 2017.
