B&D Sponsoring, Russ LaMotte Speaking During American Chemistry Council's GlobalChem Webinar Series
Principal Russ LaMotte (Washington, DC) will participate in a webinar, "Sustainability: A New Benchmark for Chemicals and Chemical Regulation?" exploring the nexus between sustainability and public policy, and how circularity will influence global regulatory programs in the future. The speakers will explore how the concept of sustainability is driving private sector and private-public sector collaborations to find real solutions to the stewardship of molecules in the circular model. The panel will address the meaning of “sustainable chemistry” in the context of emerging public policy, and will consider global trends in sustainability–including those emerging in Europe under the European Green Deal and Circular Economy Strategy–and how those trends may be shaped in a post-pandemic world.
This webinar is part of a series presented by the American Chemistry Council on topics drawn from the GlobalChem 2020 agenda. These webinars are designed to address major developments in chemicals management, and provide participants a chance to engage with policymakers and other key experts throughout the chemical industry value chain.
