B&D is proud to sponsor the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC)'s 2023 Annual Meeting. ACC’s Annual Meeting is the world’s largest gathering of in-house counsel, offering a variety of programs on all aspects of in-house practice. B&D has sponsored the ACC Environmental & Sustainability Network since 2012.

Office Managing Principal Dave Weber (Seattle) will speak on a panel, "Decarbonization: Understanding the Legal and Business Pivot Point," on October 23. Panelists will discuss the recent international push for decarbonization and in-house counsel's role in implementing these same initiatives on a company-wide scale.

Principal Megan Morgan (Baltimore) will take part in a moot court, "ESG vs. Anti-ESG: A Moot Court Showdown," on October 24. Participants will debate the potential impacts associated with widespread corporate ESG policies, and examine the arguments of anti-ESG proponents.

As an extension of B&D's Texas office and extensive client base in Texas we will co-sponsor the ACC Texas welcome reception, and we will host a dinner in honor of the ACC E&S Network leaders and speakers.
