She has experience working on a wide range of issues, including source emissions, carbon market scrutiny, hydrofluorocarbon regulations, Interior Board of Land Appeals decisions, greenwashing, renewable energy, and solid waste. Emily has worked on matters under federal law, such as the Endangered Species Act, NEPA, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and the National Heritage Area Act.

While pursuing her JD, Emily held internships with EPA and the U.S. Department of the Interior. She has had a longtime interest in environmental law, having had three conservation internships before entering law school. In these roles, Emily worked on issues related to food security and the impacts of climate change on upstate New York farms.
