John Cruden, Stacey Halliday, and Allyn Stern will Present a 2023 Outlook for Environmental Law & Policy for the Association of Corporate Counsel
Principals John Cruden (Washington, DC), Allyn Stern (Seattle), and Stacey Halliday (Washington, DC) will present an Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Environmental & Sustainability Network Legal Update webinar, "Environmental Law and Policy Outlook for 2023" on Tuesday, February 21, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. ET.
Two years ago, the Biden Administration hit the ground running on its environmental goals, from executive orders on reducing carbon emissions to policies advancing environmental justice and increasing enforcement. More recently, a swath of energy and climate-related programs funded by the bipartisan infrastructure package, emerging ESG reporting requirements, and a new rule establishing Clean Water Act jurisdiction augment the existing agenda. New regulations and policy proclamations will undoubtedly face challenges. To help in-house counsel navigate this new landscape, our speakers will provide an overview of the key federal environmental regulatory and litigation developments on the horizon for 2023.
