Beveridge & Diamond Principal Julius Redd (Washington, DC) will join the seventh installment of Powering Forward, hosted by the Business Council for Sustainable Energy and the Clean Energy Business Network, held in partnership with Grove Climate Group on June 9, 2:00 – 3:00 pm ET.

With fellow panelists, Julius will discuss environmental justice (EJ), which has become a driving theme in the energy and climate discourse at the local, state, and federal level. He and other panelists will seek to provide an introduction to EJ, discuss what it means to consult with EJ communities, explore how the Biden Administration is addressing EJ and what the impacts will be with regards to clean energy development, discuss how states approach EJ and how they are coordinating their policies with federal policy, and explore potential implications for getting EJ right or wrong.
