B&D Sponsoring, Speaking at ABA SEER's 52nd Spring Conference on Environmental Law
Beveridge & Diamond is proud to sponsor the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (ABA SEER)'s 52nd Spring Conference on Environmental Law. This conference will be centered on the forward-facing issues impacting today’s environment, energy, and resources law practice.
Hilary Jacobs (Associate, Washington, DC) will moderate a panel titled, "Massachusetts v. EPA Turns Sweet 16." The panel will evaluate how the Supreme Court decision expanded federal regulation of greenhouse gases (GHGs) under the Clean Air Act, as well as how additional factors like social cost of carbon calculations and environmental, social, and governance considerations play a role today. The panel will also discuss U.S. regulation of GHGs in a global context, including the escalation of climate litigation at the same time as industries work to reduce methane emissions.
