B&D is proud to sponsor the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC)'s 2024 Annual Meeting. ACC’s Annual Meeting is the world’s largest gathering of in-house counsel, offering a variety of programs on all aspects of in-house practice. B&D has sponsored the ACC Environmental & Sustainability Network since 2012.

Office Managing Principal Allyn Stern (Seattle) will speak on a panel discussing "Avoiding Greenwashing: How to Frame Your Green Marketing Claim" on Monday, October 7. Participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to critically assess environmental claims, avoid greenwashing, and create credible and effective sustainability marketing strategies.

Of Counsel Leah Dundon (Washington, DC) will speak on a panel, "In-house Counsel's Compliance Guide to Harmonizing Global Sustainability Disclosure Laws," on Tuesday, October 8. This session will explore the existing and proposed disclosure laws, including the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, the California Climate Disclosure Laws, the SEC’s Climate Disclosure Regulation, and the Australian Climate Disclosure Legislation.

B&D will host a dinner in honor of the ACC E&S Network leaders and speakers on October 7 at Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse, and a reception on October 8, at AVA Rooftop Bar at Nashville Live! Downtown.
