David Friedland to Speak at Ethylene Producers Conference on GHG Emissions
Principal David Friedland (Washington, DC) will speak at the 35th Ethylene Producers Conference during the Ethylene Plant General Environmental session on March 15. His panel, "The US Approach to Regulating GHG Emissions – A Practical Summary," will provide a practical review of how greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are regulated in the U.S. at the federal and state level, particularly in light of the Supreme Court's decision that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency had gone too far in issuing regulations to restrict GHG emissions from power plants. David will co-present with Everard Ashworth of Ashworth Leininger Group.
The Ethylene Producers Conference is part of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE)'s Spring Meeting and Global Congress on Process Safety, which is a technical conference for practicing chemical and process safety engineers.
