Jose Almanzar to Join ABA Webinar on Contaminated Property

Beveridge & Diamond Associate Jose Almanzar (New York) will join a panel on the liability issues associated with buying contaminated property, hosted by the American Bar Association (ABA). It became possible to knowingly purchase contaminated property without being strictly liable in 2002 as a result of that year's CERCLA amendments. Jose and other panelists will discuss the steps purchasers may take to limit liability, as well as continuing obligations and the past twenty years of related case law.
