Mike Vitris Speaking at the Water Environment Federation's Technical Exhibition and Conference

On October 2, Mike Vitris (Associate, Austin) will be speaking at the Water Environment Federation's Technical Exhibition and Conference in Chicago, IL. WEFTEC is the largest water quality conference in North America and offers educating and training to water quality professionals from around the world.ter quality exhibition in the world.

Mike will be speaking in a presentation "Turning up the Heat: Recent Developments in Climate Change Legal Liability," co-authored with Karen Hansen (Principal, Austin), that will take place at 3:30 pm in Room S504a. This presentation is part of the "Preparing for Climate Change: Tools for Resilience and Mitigation" session of the conference, and will highlight novel theories of liability based on an alleged failure to prepare for climate change.
