Super Lawyers recognized two principals in the firm's San Francisco office as top-rated California lawyers for 2022. Gary Smith was identified as a "Super Lawyer," and Kaitlyn Shannon was recognized as a "Rising Star." 

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service that identifies lawyers in more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The multi-phased selection process includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations. Super Lawyers recognition is limited to 5% of the lawyers in a given geographic area, with no more than 2.5% of the lawyers in a given geographic area for the “Rising Star” designation.
