Of Counsel Gus Bauman (Washington, DC) will speak at the Maryland State Bar Association's Annual Land Use Institute, taking place in Columbia, MD, on March 20 from 9:00am to 4:30pm (EDT).

Gus will speak in a discussion of the Supreme Court's pending consideration whether to modify its 1985 Williamson County v. Hamilton Bank decision, in which the court limited where takings claims may be filed. The discussion will take place from 2:30pm to 3:25pm (EDT).

He will also speak in a discussion regarding the status of the Supreme Court land use exactions as it pertains to the 2013 Koontz v. St. Johns River Water Management District decision regarding the jurisprudence of Nollan v. California Coastal Commission and Dolan v. City of Tigard. The discussion will take place from 3:35pm to 4:25pm (EDT).
