2017 OSHA Webinar Series: Recent Trends, Key Policies, and Impacts of the New Administration
Join Beveridge & Diamond for its 2017 Occupational Safety and Health Webinar Series to take a look back at 2016, explore what employers might expect from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in 2017, and learn how you can ensure compliance and reduce enforcement risk.
We will host a series of five complimentary presentations examining the “nuts & bolts” of OSHA compliance, OSHA rulemaking developments, and OSHA enforcement trends. Each session will have a specific focus, and the series as a whole will help companies anticipate, understand, and manage the breadth of OSHA compliance issues.
Principals Jayni Lanham (Baltimore) and Associate Meghan Quinn (San Francisco) will speak in our first session, titled "OSHA Enforcement: Recent Trends, Key Policies, and Impacts of the New Administration." The session will take place on April 26 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm (EDT) and will address recent trends in OSHA enforcement, key OSHA enforcement policies and programs that all employers should be aware of, and how these may be affected by the new Administration, including the most frequently cited OSHA standards, civil penalty trends, OSHA’s policies concerning “repeat” violations and multi-employer worksites, the Severe Violator Enforcement Program, enforcement in State Plan states, and what we might expect under the new Administration.
