B&D Principal John Cruden (Washington, DC) will join the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (ABA SEER)'s webinar, "The Supreme Court Wades into Water Law: Recent Decisions." The webinar will analyze recent SCOTUS water law cases such as County of Maui, Hawaii v Hawaii Wildlife Fund (federal jurisdiction over groundwater), Texas v New Mexico and Florida v Georgia (withdrawals by one state affecting flows relied upon by the neighboring downstream state), and Mississippi v Tennessee (pumping groundwater from an aquifer serving an adjoining state). The interface of surface and groundwater will be a central theme.
