John Cruden to Speak on Wildlife Protection and Key Environmental Cases Before SCOTUS at EarthX Conference
Principal John Cruden (Washington, DC) will speak on two panels at EarthX 2024's Congress of Conferences, on April 26.
In "Confronting the Illegal Wildlife Trade," speakers will discuss how the regulatory response to wildlife crime and illegal trade may be enhanced. Chris Corpus (Director of Conservation, Dallas Zoo), Duan Biggs (Olajos Goslow Chair for Southwestern Environmental Science and Policy, Northern Arizona University) will join John on the panel and Lexi Bowes-Lyon (Global Director of Philanthropy, Space for Giants) will moderate.
John will also speak on a panel, "Key Environmental Cases Pending Before the U.S. Supreme Court." The panelists will speak on the current line up of pending but undecided Supreme Court cases with environmental implications. They will discuss cases ranging from new review of the Chevron doctrine, to new “takings” cases.
