Principal and Co-Chair of B&D's Environmental Justice practice Julius Redd (Washington, DC) will speak on a panel, "Environmental Justice - Rethinking Community Engagement" on April 27 during the Edison Electric Institute (EEI)'s Spring Legal Conference. In the transition to clean energy, it is crucial that electric companies engage both the community and their stakeholders early in the design of new energy projects to support environmental and energy justice goals. After a primer on environmental justice, this panel will discuss best practices for community and stakeholder engagement.
