Principal Lou Manzo (Washington, DC), a leader of B&D’s white collar practice and former federal prosecutor, recently spoke with Bloomberg Law on the potential implications of the Supreme Court case relating to presidential immunity, Trump v. United States.

In Trump v. United States, the Supreme Court determined that presidential immunity from criminal prosecution presumptively extends to all "official acts" of the sitting U.S. president.

Lou, along with Washington, DC Principal Alyse Adamson, was part of the DOJ team that successfully prosecuted the first defendants in the January 6^th U.S. Capitol insurrection.
