B&D Secures No-Liability Verdict in Insurance Recovery Case
Litigators in Beveridge & Diamond’s Boston office secured a no-liability verdict for Siemens Industry, Inc. in a multiparty cost recovery case in the federal court of Boston, Massachusetts. In December 2015, after a six-week trial, a federal jury agreed that the firm’s client, one of several defendants, had no responsibility under the Massachusetts equivalent of the federal Superfund law for the $12 million cleanup of PCBs that had been discharged into a Boston waterway.
The trial team was led by Principal Marc Goldstein (Boston) and included Principals Pete Anderson and Eric Klein (Washington, DC) and Associate Brook Detterman (Boston).
