Eric Klein Moves to Boston Office
Principal Eric Klein has relocated from the firm's Washington, DC, office to the Boston office as of June 18, 2018. Eric is a litigator for all types of environmental matters and was part of the Boston trial team that won a total defense victory after a six-week jury trial in federal court in a $12 million cost recovery case. Eric's experience will enhance the Boston office's already strong litigation capabilities.
Eric focuses his litigation practice in matters focusing on water, waste, pesticides, and common-law environmental torts such as negligence and nuisance. He has litigated a variety of complex civil and commercial matters before juries, trial and appellate courts, arbitrators, and administrative tribunals, and specializes in challenging and defending technical experts in the litigation of complex environmental torts.
Among his many accomplishments in environmental litigation, Eric successfully tried the largest environmental citizen suit in U.S. history for the defense in federal court in Seattle in 2016. He also persuaded a Washington, DC court to enter a landmark preliminary injunction in a smoking nuisance action.
