World Environment Center Names B&D Principal Lauren Hopkins to Board of Directors
The World Environment Center (WEC) announced on July 16th that it elected Lauren Hopkins, Beveridge & Diamond’s San Francisco Office Managing Principal, to its Board of Directors.
Lauren leads B&D’s Corporate Sustainability and Product Stewardship practices. She advises clients in numerous industry sectors on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosures, responsible sourcing of raw materials including “conflict minerals” and forest products, as well as human rights and labor issues in corporate operations and supply chains.
“Sustainability is both a professional and personal passion of mine, and I look forward to working with WEC’s esteemed Board, leadership, and staff to advance corporate sustainability initiatives and outcomes,” said Lauren.
In its announcement, WEC said, "[Our new Board members] bring deep expertise, seasoned judgment, and broad, global experience that will help WEC become even more effective in our mission.”
