2016 OSHA Webinar Series: Process Safety Management and Risk Management Plan Developments and Implications
Join Beveridge & Diamond for its 2016 Occupational Safety and Health Webinar Series to take a look back at 2015, explore what employers might expect from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in 2016, and learn how you can ensure compliance and reduce enforcement risk.
We will host a series of five complimentary presentations examining the “nuts & bolts” of OSHA compliance, OSHA rulemaking developments, and OSHA enforcement trends. Each session will have a specific focus, and the series as a whole will help companies anticipate, understand, and manage the breadth of OSHA compliance issues.
Principal Mark Duvall (Washington, DC) and Associate Sarah Kettenmann (New York) will speak in our fourth session, titled "OSHA Process Safety Management and Risk Management Plan Developments and Implications." The session will take place on November 2 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm (EDT) and will address OSHA’s anticipated proposed rule to modify the Process Safety Management (PSM) standard and EPA’s proposed updates to the Accidental Release Prevention Requirements of Risk Management Program (RMP) under Section 112(r)(7) of the Clean Air Act, including the potential changes to the PSM and RMP rules, the agencies’ process for developing and finalizing these rules, and the implications that these changes will have on employers.
