Biography

Ragini focuses her practice on international environmental law, climate change, and sustainability.

She joined B&D after working as a Stanford Law School Public Interest Fellow with ClientEarth, North America. In this position, she researched legal issues related to climate risk management and disclosure, ESG, coal phase-out in the Asia-Pacific, and environmental aspects of the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Ragini also supported the development of training syllabi on climate law for judges in the Asia-Pacific region.

At Stanford Law School, Ragini was a member editor for the Stanford Environmental Law Review and a student fellow at the Center for Law and the Biosciences. Prior to receiving her LLM, she worked at an Indian law firm where she represented clients in various commercial disputes and provided advisory services on securities law, insolvency and bankruptcy, environmental compliance, and land acquisition securities law matters. She also clerked for a judge in the Delhi High Court, gaining valuable insights into judicial processes and complex litigation.

Ragini is fluent in Hindi and English. She seeks out volunteering opportunities and enjoys theater, music, and dabbling in foreign languages.
