Dan Krainin and Mackenzie Schoonmaker Appointed as NY Bar Committee Co-Chairs
Principals Dan Krainin and Mackenzie Schoonmaker from our New York office have been appointed as Committee Co-Chairs and Executive Committee members of the New York State Bar Association’s Environmental Law Section. Dan will serve as Co-Chair of the Section’s Toxic Torts Committee and Mackenzie will serve as Co-Chair of the Pesticides Committee.
Dan’s practice focuses on toxic tort and product liability litigation. He previously served as Chair of the American Bar Association Section on Environment, Energy and Resources Committee on Environmental Litigation and Toxic Torts. He currently serves as a member of the Environmental Law Institute’s Leadership Council.
Mackenzie's practice includes both litigation and regulatory matters arising under the federal pesticides statute, FIFRA, the Clean Water Act, and related environmental laws. Shes a founding member and previous Chair of the National Association of Women Lawyers Energy & Environmental Affinity Group. Mackenzie currently serves as a member of the New York City Bar’s Environmental Committee.
